Abstract
The materials presented summarize the theoretical and practical aspects of the research carried out by the scientific school «Physiological and socio-pedagogical problems of adaptation and health». The group of scientific and pedagogi- cal workers at Kemerovo state university together with institutions of postigraduate and supplemmentary education de- veloped conceptual approaches to the problem of human ecology and valeology, and testedthem in educational institu- tions of various types, promoting the creation of health saving infrastructure in the educational system of the Kemerovo region.

Abstract

The parameters population size, age and gender characteristics, reproductive performance and structure of morbidity among the indigenous population of the Kemerovo region the Teleuts and the Shors is studied. Distinctive features of ethno-demographic processes and biomedical characteristics in the study groups of the Teleuts and the Shors were studied, namely the difference in demographic processes direction, features of reproduction dynamics, and difference in morbidity structure.
In the Shors of the Kemerovo region, in the period from 1940 to 2012, an over-50 % reduction in population in places of compact settlement within the boundaries of the Kemerovo region was revealed, as well as a significant reduction (over 20 %) of the total population in the Kemerovo region and in the Russian Federation as a whole in the period from 1989 to 2010. High frequency of prenatal losses (2,7 times higher than that of the Teleuts) and infant mortality (5,9 times higher than that of the Teleuts) with a 150 % fall in the birth rate within one generation (30 years). The high revalence of injuries and poisonings among Shor children (2,5 times more likely than in the Teleuts) and adolescents (13 times more likely than in the Teleuts).
In Bekovo Teleuts some positive trends were identified: doubling in the number of compact residence places (from 1940 to 2012). With a stable total number of the Teleuts in the Kemerovo region and in Russia (from 2002 to 2010) with a 130 % fall in the birth rate and a 230 % fall in the infant mortality rate within one generation (30 years) Decline in generation (30 years).

Abstract
Subjective estimation of intensity and attractivity of the odor of sweat collected in axillary pits on filter paper is investigatedat 155 young males and 128 young females who were both donors and recipients of odor samples. The role of odor signals in humans’ nonverbal communications is detected. The implactof various factors, bound to psychophysiological and immuno-endocrine characteristics of odor signals donors and recipients, their genetic characteristics, and the state of their health, including sexually-transmitted infections and psychoemotional stress,on the variability ofthe subjective estimation of people’s odors attractivity is investigated. After studying the relations between odor attractivity and HLA genotypes of of donors and recipients, the impact of that genetical factor on selecting of dating pairs in a population is analyzed.

Abstract

The research area of the scientific school «Discrete mathematics and mathematical cybernetics» at Kemerovo State University is a wide class of optimization and management problems from different fields of human activity studied by means of mathematical modeling.
Since the size of the paper is restricted, it presents only the results of those school’s activity which concern construction and research of mathematical models for so-called conflict controlled processes. In this connection, the main emphasis is put on the results obtained by the members of the school in the last 10–15 years.

Abstract
The paper focuses on the identification of cultural meanings of somatic code items in English and Russian linguistic pictures of the world. The body herein is regarded as a model for processes of cognition and linguistic structuring of the world. The purpose of the paper is to determine correlation between universal knowledge of the body and culturally significant associations caused by conceptual mappings from mental domain “body” to mental domains of the outside world. The study has been conducted according to the conceptual research procedure elaborated in Kemerovo scientific school under the supervision of Prof. M. V. Pimenova.

Abstract
The paper focuses on the scientific school “Russian literature in the context of Christian culture” at Kemerovo State University, which was established since a new sphere of the literary study in Russia was being developped. The subject of research is the works of Russian writers of the 19th-20th centuries as well as their correlation with Christian and Orthodox culture as basis for Russian integrity, way of life and mentality. The artistic understanding of “liturgical text”, Biblical images and motifs in the works by V. Zhukovsky, A. Pushkin, V. Küchelbecker, M. Lermontov, N. Gogol, F. Dostoyevsky, L. Tolstoy and I. Shmelyov is analyzed. The work of the scientific laboratory and the supplementary education programme “The basics of the Orthodox culture” (Department of Russian Literature and Folklore) are presentedwithin the framework of the school.

Abstract
The paper describes the history of formation and development of the scientific school "Physical chemistry of information registration and creation of new functional materials". The main areas of research in different years are presented. The main scientific results obtained by the researchers who worked on the synthesis and study of photographic silver halide materials are revealed. The basic challenges of photographic science at various times are presented. The chronologic effect on the subject and the tradition of scientific research are shown. The reasons for the shift of research topics to the synthesis and research of photocatalysts on the base of nanostructured heterophase photoactive systems are disclosed.

Abstract
The paper addresses the kinetics of the expansionn of lead and silver azides whiskers under photoand electricfield effects. The significant influence of charge heterogeneities (strong fielddomains) on the formation of  solid (metal) and gas (nitrogen) degradation products is shown, appearing in the bulk of the azide in the fields of elastic stresses and dislocations, and in the contact area of the external electric field. The processes in the domain determine the kinetic features of electric-and photochemical decomposition of heavy metal azides and their high explosive sensitivity.

Abstract
The problems of formation and development of Kemerovo center of International Association for Institutional Studies are pointed out in the paper. Kemerovo center of International Association for Institutional Studies is the base for the research school of institutional regionalistics. The specificity of the scientific approachwhich deals with complex analysis of institutional systems that are formed in the post-soviet economy of Russia is highlighted. The main scientific achievements of the team members are pointed out in the paper. Some researches, conducted by the members of the scientific school, were supported by 18 grants of various foundations. Amid them are the following: 5 grants from Russian Foundation for Humanities, 4 grants from Russian Foundation for Basic Research, 1 grant from Targeted Federal Programme. The most significant scientific results were reported in the leading Russian journals: «Voprosy Economiki», «Social Sciences and Modernity», «Sociological Studies», «Terra Economicus», «Man and Labor», and others. Some theoretical conceptselaborated by the members of research team, are the reason of great scientific interest of journals and readers, namely: deformalization of business and authorities interplay, political-bureaucratic market, social capital in business and authorities interplay, quasi developmental institutions, quasi public-private partnership, political resources of a firm. Within the International Association for Institutional Studies, theresearchteam maintains firm scientific links with researchers from Moscow State University, National Research University-Higher School of Economics, Donetsk National Technical University (Ukraine), South Federal University, Siberian Federal University, Novosibirsk State Technical University, Tomsk State University, Omsk State University, Altai State Technical University.

Abstract

Indevelopmentofthetheoryofeconomicharmoniesfivelevelsareallocated. The reason of braking of scientific development in this area is defined. The need forintensification ofacademic attention towards the basic inherited properties of economic systems and the phenomenon of oogenesis, providing "heredity" and "variability" coordination in their development is proved.
The concept of sustainable development of the economy of states, regions and the organizations is now represented as the trinity of economic, social and ecological components. In fact, evolving, it found new quality, and was transformed to the concept of harmonious development of social economic systems. "Genome" of the model organization is developed. Definitions of "Harmonious development of the organization", "harmonization approach to organizationsmanagement" are given. Connection of harmonious development of the organizations with quality management standards is established.
