Abstract
This research focuses on the value-meaning aspect of love in different cultures. In this study, we looked at people from Central African Republic (CAR) and Russia, and tested the hypothesis on how much influence a culture has on the way love is viewed. 50 people from Central African Republic and 50 people from Russia took part in this research. Groups had equal gender representation (25 females and 25 males in each group) and comparable age. As a methodology, we used our questionnaire “Notions about love” and classical associative experiment. Comparative analysis of the data showed that notions of love even in such distant cultures have many more similarities than differences. In both groups (Russia and CAR), the idealization of this feeling (love) prevails. Love is seen as a power that helps people create, grow and overcome obstacles. Another similarity is that both groups associate love with dedication and the meaning of life. Data from the associative experiment confirms this commonality, because in both groups, love is associated with passion, friendship and patience. At the same time, the results of this experiment show that concept of love is ambivalent among the Russians: they associate love not only with positive feelings, but with suffering and selfsacrifice. Russians are more likely to agree with relatively negative statements about love. Notions about love among people from Central African Republic is mostly associated with religion and action-related components.

Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to consider the modern concept of love (in the framework of the social psychology of the “Man and Woman” relations), reflecting the specificity of scientific approaches in our century. The authors refer to the phenomenon of love in the history of the humanity, which is transformed into a new archetypal reality through global and socio-cultural changes. By method of comparative analysis the authors attempted to trace the dynamics of changes of the rhythm and way of life, reflected in the framework of changes in social relations within the communication space of “male” and “female”, the similarities and differences of this. The authors make a conclusion about the archetypes associated with the conversion of love in consummation of external manifestations. Schematically this process looks like the desire for functional infantilisation of generations that extends in the framework of “birth - death – rebirth” through the archetypal theme of “child” and “hero”; however, individuation (narcissism) leads to a loss of subjectity and the updated archetypal theme of “the disabled hero” is compensated in the image of “anti-love”.

Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of verb choice in potential aspectual competition. The analysis of the most popular interpretations of invariant aspectual meanings suggests that the Imperfective Aspect defines an action itself while the Perfective Aspect defines the action’s limit. If this hypothesis is correct, the opposition of an action and the action’s limit is supposed to stay relevant in any contexts even in case of competition of aspectual modus meanings. Such contexts are considered as a field where verb aspect conveys more distinctive nuance of the action compared to the traditional particular aspectual meanings. However, in such cases verb choice is to be motivated by invariant aspectual meanings as verb choice in any other context. To verify this hypothesis we have conducted an experiment that aimed to identify the rules of the verb choice in potential aspectual competition. The paper considers the results of the part of the experiment that was dedicated to modus meanings. Results of the experiment proved that the opposition of the action and the action’s limit is relevant for Russian native speakers even in case of competition of aspectual modus meanings.

Abstract
The paper deals with communicative intention which has no monosemantic interpretation in modern linguistic theories. An attempt is made to correlate the variety of approaches to communicative intention and find the common ground in order to define the notion borders and to reveal how certain features of the target audience influence the verbalization of intention within economic media discourse. The application of the intentional model by Potcheptsov is grounded. It singles out initial and final intentions each of which is divided into a speech-act intention and postspeech act intention according to time factor of its realization. This gives a successive overview of the intention exteriorization process. The texts of “Тhe Economist” are used as the basis to consider the peculiarities of economic media discourse. The author's communicative intention along with the addressee are seen as text formation factors. Special attention is given to the journal’s target group which is described as critically tuned information takers. Some arguments are given to support the assumption that strategic post speech-act intention of the economic text author is to convince the addressee to accept their viewpoint. Hence, the author's aim is to present their viewpoint as objective and unbiased by means of argumentation strategies. One possible criterion to create their semantic classification is the way of presenting information. The paper suggests a classification of argumentation strategies and offers some evaluation of popularity of different strategies with “Тhe Economist” authors.

Abstract
The paper investigates the role of the avant-gardism in a capitalist society in the works of philosophers, especially M. A. Lifshitz and M. Cantor. The purpose of the paper is the comparison of the positions of these authors, to reveal their criticism of modernism historical and ideological component. The paper also addresses the problem of estrangement in the sphere of influence of culture in the reflection of the philosophical works of the 20th – early 21st centuries. Modern culture is the result of the degeneration of this estrangement, the cause of the alienation of labor. One of the manifestations of this degeneration has become the avant-garde, which has evolved from a "non-threatening rebellion" to the profitable business. The paper also addresses the problem of the correlation between fascism and avant-garde. Basic research methods in the paper are the historical-genetic and historical-comparative methods. Comparison of the critical positions of M. A. Lifshitz and M. Cantor shows that the main reason for the differences in their views is a different understanding of the world historical process. This difference reflects the ideological and social differences between the Soviet and post-Soviet humanitarian intelligentsia.

Abstract

The paper analyzes ceramics from Bolshoy Log-I settlement, located in the south of Western Siberia. The data of technical and technological analysis are presented. The research revealed the use of different material sources and different kinds of feedstock: silty and natural ferruginated clays. The recipes for molding masses were identified. The most common recipe was «feedstock + chamotte + organics» and «feedstock + chamotte + organic solution».

During the study of vessels morphology, two forms were revealed – jars and pots. Vessels were ornamented mainly by stamping or dragging. The most common frieze types are vertical herringbone, flutes and grooves. Meander and triangle patterns are less common, which distinguishes these vessels from funeral vessels. Ornamentation and technology of Bolshoy Log-I ceramics are similar to the ceramics from Kargat-6 settlement near Barabynsk, which leads to the suggestion about Adronovo population migration from Tobolsk region, and their leaving the Kargat-6 and Bolshoy Log-I sites.

The history of social insurance of workers found reflection in literature practically from the first days of existence of the USSR. The question of a detailed periodization of the Soviet historiography of pre-revolutionary social insurance of workers is addressed in the paper. The author focused on the period which is the most difficult for studying: from October Rprior up to the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, when work on this problem practically stopped.

The analysis of literature and activity of the scientific and historical institutions which were engaged in studying of the problem allowed defining the chronological framework of the considered period. As a result of research the author allocates three stages, though defining their chronological frameworks was hindered by such factors as struggle in the higher levels of the authorities, number of researches and their political orientation, and also a limited circle of the sources introduced into scientific circulation.
