Abstract
In the structure of the population of earthworms the following specieswere revealed: Eisenia nordenskioldi (Eisen, 1879), Allolobophora parva (Eisen, 1874), and Lumbricus rubellus (Hoffmeister, 1843). The first species is widespread, it was found in all the investigated habitats. The range of deviation (R) was 42 to 6 specimen per 1 m2. The coefficient of variation in number of the studied population of lumbricids in all the ecotopes was 33,5 %. The animals were discovered to have a strong reaction to soil pollution with oil products and to sharp change in humidity (R = 0,88 ± 0,13 and R = 0,85 ± 0,13) by means of active vertical migration to more optimal habitats.

The paper is devoted to the features of self-renewal of the pine forestry in the artificial plantings on Kedrovsky coal minedumps. A high frequency ofsubgrowth formation in various gradations of crown density of forest stands of the II group of age is established. Optimum conditions for subgrowth develop at 30 % crown density, the optimum combination of ecological interrelations between forest stand and subgrowth is reached at 50 % crown density. Pines’ invasion into adjacent free sites happens sporadically and is no process of forest formation at this age stage.

Abstract
The paperanalyses some of young tennis players’ psycho-physiological qualities taking into account gender differences. Touch response in tennis players aged 7 – 8 was studied on a hardware-software complex «NS-PsychoTest». Tennis players were divided into gender as follows: girls (n = 38) and boys (n = 42). Analysis of sensor response in the tests (simple visual-motor reaction, reaction of discernment, reaction of selection) indicates an increase in the latency period of girls’reaction as compared with boys. Positive mean group response measurement to the moving object in boys is a consequence of inhibitory processes predominance in the central nervous systems of the majority of the surveyed athletes. Negative mean group response measurement to the moving object in girl’s indicatesthe imbalance of nervous processes flow toward excitation beingthe dominant CNS reaction in response to workload. In attention focusing test gender differences in the quality of performing the the tasks were revealed as well: the girls show high speed of work, accompanied by the lower quality of performance, while boys have low speed of work as the quality of performance is higher.

Abstract
The paper bases on archive and literary materials to examine the feudal civil strives in the Shamkhalate of Tarki in the first quarter of the 18th  century. The authors believe the main reason of the civil strives among the Kumyk sovereigns to have been the strive for the throne of the Shamkhalate of Tarki, which was the largest feud in Dagestan at that time. The authors draw a conclusion that the feudal civil strives of powerful Kumyk sovereigns may be explained by the absence of strong central power and unity among Kumyk nobility, as well as their disunity often resulting in bloodshed and hostilities. Kumyk sovereigns often got support from Russia, Iran and Turkey in their struggle for throne in Tarki.

Abstract
The paperad dressesthe role of secular schools, which were subjected to the Ministry of Education, in everyday life of cities in Western Siberia in the second half of the 19th – early 20th century; their quantity and its dynamics, the quality of education provided there according to contemporaries’ opinion, and the interest of parents and children toward studying in collages and gymnasiums are analyzed. The study of the interaction and mutual influence of schools and the urban society is realized withinthe contemporary anthropological research paradigm of “history of everyday life”. Despite all the disadvantages of pre-revolutionary educational institutions, schools were discovered to have been attracting the younger generation, striving for books, knowledge and science. Schools were centres of educational culture in cities, and had humanizing effect on different layers of population. The great role of educational institutions in the everyday life resulted from its functions (in addition to the basic one – studying): participating in public life and in the celebrations of various events, transmitting  cultural values, socialization,  patriotic education. In general, prerevolutionary educational institutions in Western Siberia were multi-functional educational and cultural centres, without which daily life of the citizens was unthinkable.

The paper introduces a conjugate subgradient method whose descent is corrected by a pair of current training relations. The convergence of the method is proved on strictly convex functions. According to the numerical experiment, the method is effective at non-smooth high-dimensional minimization problems. By memory cost, theproposed method is similar to the conjugate gradient method, and at smooth high-dimensional singular functions its convergence rate is not inferior to tha of the conjugate gradient method.

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the peculiarities of the translation process as a certain and specific type of communication. Types and problems of linguistic competence in the communication process connected with the processes of coding and decoding of the communicated information are analyzed and investigated. Possible interferenceare identified, being objective and subjective, influencing both the communication process as a whole and the translation in particular. Nomination of “translation” as a result, process and communication act is determined. Three models of the communication process – as linear, transactional and interactive – are considered to find the one that best corresponds to translation as a type of communication.
The practical value of this investigation lies in an attempt to describe and analyze the translation from the viewpoint of the communication process in order to reveal the regularities associating with the translation process. Findings obtained when studying translation as a communication act may expand the comprehension of what translation is, paying attention to its constituents, which will allow both to improve the translation as a result, to minimize possible interference in the translation process, and will as well attract attention to the complex of “secondary” constituents of the future translator’s personality when learning.

The paper considers the problem of forming family values in the aspect of external factorsinfluence. A comparative sociological analysis of Novosibirsk students’ value sphere is presented. A sociological study, conducted in February 2013, addressed students of four Novosibirsk universities. The sample included 453 people. The quota type of the sample was used. The study employed the author’s research tools (questionnaires). The paper presents the data concerning two groups of respondents: Novosibirsk city residents and residents of other towns (rural areas). The influence of the circumstances of initial socialization on the youth’s values and mentality formation is analyzed. The study made it possible to formulate a number of original conclusions concerning the role of the territorial factor in the choice of the key of life strategy and in the process of mentality formation in various youth groups in general. The general trend of the student youth value formation, reflecting a high importance of traditional values, is revealed. At the same time, a significant difference in their life strategies is discovered. The youth, brought up in the urbanized social space, chooses the diachronic key of life strategy. The country youth, having moved to the city, chooses the synchronic key.

The paper discusses the authors’basic positions in the book «Vehi» and compares them to the contemporary context. The issues related to the reconstruction of society are proved to be timeless and to demand perfection of each individual, both in the 20th century and today, and depend to a greater degree on reforming the systems and institutions, and on changes in the individual's consciousness. It is a mistake to approach such issues on a large scale, systematically, as it has been customary in our society so far. Studying the materials of «Vekhi» provides an opportunity to understand why some social reforms do not meet the expected result.

Abstract
The paper is devoted to the calculation of the main parameters of explosive decomposition of pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) containing aluminium, cobalt and nickel nanosized particles in terms of the modernized ‘hot spot’ model. The following parameters were calculated – dependence of the nanoparticles absorptivity on their sizes in PETN matrix, space and time distribution of the temperature in ‘PETN – nanoparticle’ system initiated by the first and second harmonics of the YAG-Nd laser. The research showed that the particle’s diameter, corresponding to the absorption maximum, and the maximum peak value both depend on the irradiation wave length. For the first harmonic of the YAG-Nd laser the absorption maximum is observed in bigger nanoparticle sizes of aluminium, cobalt and nickel than for the second harmonic. At the same time the maximum peak value decreases considerably. The calculation of the minimal value of the critical energy density and the optimal nanoparticle sizes for each wave length was made. The results show that in all the examined inclusions critical energy density for the second harmonic is much smaller than for the first one. The results make it possible to predict the sensitivity of energetic materials to laser irradiation.

The paper is devoted to the determining the conditions of realization of the chain, chain-thermal and thermal mechanisms of energetic materials explosion decomposition. The following data were used: 1) the dependence of decomposition rate on the inverse temperature of the sample with the definition of the effective activation energy of the process; 2) the dependence of the critical energy density of the explosive decomposition initiation on the pulse duration. The calculations were made for silver azide initiated by pulse radiation of different duration. The dependencies of the critical energy density on the pulse duration for the different values of recombination constants were examined. The research showed that the realization of either chain or thermal mechanism is defined by producing the exposure duration and the rate of recombination constant.

Abstract
This paper discusses the changes in the system of security and the form of the ballot on the territory of the Russian Federation in the period of radical change in this area (1990s – 2000s). The author focuses on the specifics of electoral law development and its effect on the change of the ballot as a major form of will exposion in the course of voting in federal, regional and municipal elections of Russian citizens. The main features of changes inballot security levels in some areas and regions of Russia are highlighted. The author concludes that the legislation governing the electionsprocedure, which does not describe the obligatory degrees of ballot security, has led to a gradual increase in the level of its security. The introduction of ballotprocessing complexes in 2010 improved ballot security and electoral procedure to a new level, still without completelysolving the problem of ballot security at the contemporary stage.
