LOAD RATIO IN THE PREPARATORY PERIOD OF TRAINING STUDENTS-ATHLETES ENGAGED IN SPORTS AEROBICS AT NON-SPECIAL HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The paper presents the technique of designing the preparatory period of training of students-athletes engaged in sports aerobics. Load components were defined taking into account its distribution in each microcycle, which will allow the trainer to correct the training loads during the preparatory period, taking into account the educational activity of athletes. The author made an attempt at distributing the means of physical and technical training during the preparatory period within the academic year in higher education institution for athletes’ reaching their optimum form for the competitions. Thus it is very important to consider that students are compelled to skip training classes in due to with educational tasks or illness. The methods of pedagogical experiment and statistical data processing were used. Materials. Planning of the preparatory period within the academic year is one of the main aspects of training students-athletes for competitions. The following factors influence the design of the preparatory period: the educational process, test and examination sessions, the vacation period. At various stages of the preparatory period it is important to consider the most expedient ratio of volume and intensity of the performed work, and also the separate or consecutive development and improvement of physical qualities. The load ratio in the preparatory period at students-athletes engaged in sports aerobics in non-special higher education institutions considered in the paper will help athletes to have reached their optimum form by the beginning of the competitive period.
