LANGUAGE (THINKING) AND THE LIFE: DUE AND REAL (reflections on Sh. Bally’s book “Language and life”)
Abstract
The paper discusses the context of understanding the problem of correlation of language and life in terms ofGenevaLinguisticSchool(for example, Charles Bally) and from the point of view of philosophy. The comparison of these two positions revealed that the work done by philosophers and linguists, not only does not contradict, but complements and clarifies each other, allowing to take a fresh look at the problem of the relation of thought and life, left as a legacy of ancient philosophy.
