YOGA FITNESS PROGRAMME AS A MEANS OF SENIOR PRESCHOOLERS’ PERSONAL PHYSICAL CULTURE

Abstract

The paper discusses some current issues related to the content of the educational field of “Physical Culture”. The author presents the target, conceptual direction and content of the programme developed for additional physical training on the basis of fitness yoga. The programme provides: preservation and promotion of students’ health , development of children’s  basic  movements;  physical  and  personal  qualities  development.  The  lack  of  additional  education  programmes, taking into account the current realities of understanding the importance of forming the value-based studentcentered approach to physical education of preschool children, has necessitated the development of this program.
