Abstract
The paper examines the manifestations of spiritual life of the Ancient Greek,as it is revealed in ancient art images. Its main representation in the art is the image of man, in particular, his physicality, bearing in itself the fullness of selfsufficiency. Fleshly nature has a soul. The focus is shifted away from relating the man with the beast to their relating with gods.
