CARGO CULT IN THE CONTEXT OF E. EVANS-PRITCHARD’S CRITICISM OF CLASSICAL THEOLOGICAL APPROACHES
Abstract
Using the example of cargo cult and the context of E. Evans-Pritchard’s criticism of classical interpretations of religion, the authors claimreligion to find its authentic form of expression not in the social functions nor the psychological phenomena, but rather in the system of symbolical forms and primarily in the language.
