THE ROLE OF COORDINATIVE NUMBER IN SCIENTIFIC TEXT IN TERMS OF SCIENTIST'S SPEECH INDIVIDUALITY

Abstract

One of the most popular in scientific speech style linguistic units - lexical-syntactical unit coordinative number that is focused on the expression of analytic-synthesize ability of scientist's mind is under consideration. Different organization of coordinative numbers and their contextual surrounding testify that the author is prone to analytical or synthesize side of thought. On the base of this fact the role of coordinative numbers used in scientific text is accented concerning the expression of thought's process or of thought's result - in terms of scientist's speech individuality.
