PROPAGANDA OF THE SCOTTISH COLONIZATION OF AMERICA IN THE TRACT OF WILLIAM ALEXANDER (1624)

Abstract

The article is devoted to the early history of the Scottish colonization of Northern America. The establishment of New Scotland colony in 1621-1623 is considered here. It is the first time when the tract 'Encouragement to colonies' of William Alexander is analyzed as the historical source according to the Scottish colonization of New World and early history of Canada.
