EXPERIENCE on THEORETICAL RECONSTRUCTION of the ARCHITECTURAL EXTERIOR of MIKHAILO-ARKHANGELSKIY TEMPLE (Republic of Altai)
Abstract
The article deals with the results of complex research of the temple and the graveyard in village Miyjeta, Shebalinskiy district, Republic of Altai. With the help of archive, ethnographic, archeological and art study it became possible to reconstruct the architectural design of the temple and the plan of the graveyard which had been long lost because of the intended destruction in the second half of the 20th century.
