Abstract
The article analyzes the paired words representing the Khantys linguistic picture of the world. The linguistic
picture of the world implicates the ethnic groups special perception of the world and world-view, fixed in the semantics
of the language units and in the conceptual-categorical structure of the language (in vocabulary, grammar, and word
formation).
