THE SEMANTICS OF WATER MOTION VERBS IN THE KHANTY LANGUAGE

Abstract

The article deals with the water motion verbs in the Synsky dialect of the Khanty language. Semantically, the
studied words are divided into the following groups: the verbs of unidirectional motion oriented at the initial point and
final destinations, the verbs of non-directional (multi-directional) motion.
