THE FORMATION OF THE PRESCHOOLERS PICTURE OF THE WORLD REFLECTED IN THE SPEECH

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe how a preschooler's speech reflects the formation of a certain picture of the
world. Three days voice recording of a 5-year old boy, Dima, served as the material. The overall conclusion from the
chosen boys speech analysis is that there are four most characteristic features of the childs picture of the world at this
stage of development: self-centeredness, masculinity, the elements of mythological thinking, cognitive rationalism.
