THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOCIO-POLITICAL THOUGHT IN THE MODERN EAST

Abstract

The author analyses the principal ideas of the modern Chinese and Arab thinkers about ways out of critical situations and society development as well as their understanding of civilizations formation, the role of the state and its evolution. The author emphasizes that these doctrines were in accordances with the time and independent from the outer (European) influence. The thinkers of the East based on their countries’ experience and the historical and cultural tradition. They represented the interests of underprivileged working classes, created new principles of the state system, affirmed the superiority of law and the responsibility of the supreme power to the people, role and significance of private property and initiative, the availability of education. They argued the evolutional character of the society’s development.
