TRANSFORMATION OF SOCIAL RELATIONS IN AQUITAINE DURING THE FORMATION OF THE VISIGOTHIC KINGDOM
Abstract
The paper investigates the changing of the social interactions and relations in Roman Southern Gaul after the settlement of the Visigoths as federates in this region. The investigation of the relationship of the Visigoths and the Gallo-Roman population is focused on the context of comparing the plans and targets for each of the parties and their implementation. The article also examines the impact of the Visigoths on the transformation of social relations within the Gallo-Roman population.
