TOURISM BUSINESS: MYTHS, CHALLENGES AND REALITIES
Abstract
The relevance of the study is determined by the growth of rapid and significant changes in the competitive tourism market as a result of contemporary processes of globalization and worsening of the world financial crisis.
The paper considers the organization problems of travel agency activities including the widespread erroneous viewpoints based on the lack of adequate professional education or experience in the face of fierce competition and the restructuring of the tourist market. The paper gives examples of the possible management decisions in this sphere of activity.
