THE ROLE OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES DEPARTMENTS IN DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCY OF TOURISM GRADUATES IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS
Abstract
The paper considers the forms and methods of work which the teaching staff of foreign languages departments uses in the educational process to enable students majoring in Tourism to acquire professional competency. The authors describe some interactive techniques in studying. They are to help students master a foreign language and at the same time allow them to obtain initial experience in solving possible professional problems thus forming students’ professiona lcompetency.
