INFORMATIZATION OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF CROSS-CULTURAL PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF BACHELOR’S DEGREE STUDENTS OF ENGINEERING MAJORS

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the process of providing the sphere of education with the methodology, development practice and optimal use of modern information technologies using the interactive tools of the electronic platform LMS Moodle in teaching a foreign language (e. g English) to the students of engineering majors in terms of the approbation of the author’s on-line educational course. The relevance of the study is explained by the internationalization of higher education which confirms the need in qualified engineers with good knowledge of English in the employment market. Thus the introduction of new methods and techniques can speed up and facilitate the educational process of training the specialists in this field on the basis of new innovative information technologies and techniques which are aimed at the realization of educational learning needs, attitude development and for the successful development of cross-cultural professional competence of the students of Bachelor’s Degree/specialists.
