MORPHOLOGICAL AND SEMANTIC FEATURES OF THE GERMAN EMOTIVE VERBS EXPRESSING THE EMOTION OF SADNESS

Abstract

Description of morphological and semantic features of the German derivative and non-derivative emotive verbs expressing the emotion of sadness helps understand the culture-specific peculiarities of the given phenomenon. In such researches, special attention is given to the analysis of word-building elements (prefixes), which are involved in the derivation process, their functions and specific peculiarities of the relationship between prefixes and verbal semantics.
