MODERN TREATMENT OF THE CONCEPT OF NEWS IN THE CONDITIONS OF MEDIA CONVERGENCE
Abstract
The paper is devoted to an important stage of development of television news journalism. In this work the situation which has developed in modern television production, in connection with rapid development of "new" media is analyzed, options of adaptation of traditional information technologies in the conditions of fight for audience are considered. One of the main trends of modern news teleproduction development is the audit of basic laws and the rules of television journalism which, among others, are based on such major concept as news.
