LEXICAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE FABLE GENRE IN THE MODERN ENGLISH INTERNET FOLKLORE

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the analysis of lexical adaptation of the fable genre in the Internet-folklore. The moral and the idea of original works appear to be the basis for Internet-folklore texts. The analysis reveals lexical transformations made in order to implement effective pragmatic influence of the text upon the reader.
