UNIVERSITY REVOLUTION AND METAPHYSICAL RENAISSANCE

Abstract

The author considers the peculiarities of a new type of university in Germany, and the flowering of academic philosophy. Kant discovered transcendental sphere as a new object of philosophical insight and methodology of his research. This gave rise to the famous idealist movement called "second classic," and to the great materialists.
