KUZBASS CONURBATION AS AN EXAMPLE OF THE SPATIAL STRUCTURE OF THE METROPOLITAN AREA
Abstract
The paper deals with the validity of rationing the concepts of “urban agglomeration”, “agglomeration” and the spatial structure of urban agglomeration. It is shown that the agglomeration process is extended in time, it is necessary to consider urban agglomeration in the particular moment. The characteristics of potential Kuzbass agglomeration (conurbation) are analyzed.
