ACTS OF REPRISAL IN CONTEMPORARY INTERNATIONAL LAW: THE CONCEPT AND POSSIBLE ARRANGEMENTS
Abstract
The power functions, which could make law subjects strictly execute their obligations in law, do not inhere in contemporary international law. Such obligations often lead a state to a necessity of executing international obligations independently with the help of appealing to enforcement arrangements, aimed at restoration of its rights, breached by another state. The acts of reprisal are one of these arrangements.
