PECULIARITIES AND WAYS OF THE UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OPTIMISATION
Abstract
The Russian system of higher professional education is overcoming significant changes. Some universities are united
into Federal universities, National research universities are defined.
Regional universities are in a difficult situation now. Many of them have to find the sources for survival by themselves.
In these conditions the universities activity is also complex. Strategic development management, economic management,
informatization, innovation management and international management are added to the standard kinds of the university activities
- educational and scientific. All this leads to the necessity to rebuild the university management system and its organizational
structure.
The model of a regional university management system is provided in the paper.
