THE IMPERIAL POLICY CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATIVE-TERRITORIAL DIVISION OF SIBERIA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE XIX CENTURY
Abstract
The article focuses on the measures introduced by the Russian government to improve the administrative-territorial division of the Empire's eastern outlying distrcts in the 1850s - early 1860s after realizing the full inclusiveness of these territories in state structure.
