BETWEEN IDEAL AND REAL: SOCIAL POLICY OF THE EUROPEAN UNION IN THE 2000S

Abstract

The paper analyses the goals that were announced in the sphere of the European social policy at the beginning of the 2000s and the results that were achieved by 2012. The main factors that affected the EU’s ability to accomplish itssocial agenda have been evaluated.
