THE MODELS OF USING HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE SITES IN SIGHTSEEING AND CULTURAL TOURISM
Abstract
The paper deals with an overview of the main characteristics and patterns of using historical and cultural heritage sites in tourism. The historical facts of emergence of particular models and examples of the heritage use in different kinds of tourism in Russia and abroad are demonstrated. Selection of the particular model must be determined by the national and regional peculiarities.
