STATE SOCIAL INSURANCE AS A FORM OF SOCIAL TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN SIBERIAN REGIONS IN THE 1950S – 1960S

Abstract

The paper examines the history of formation and development of social tourism in the regions of Western and Eastern Siberia in the 1950s – 1960s. The author emphasizes the activity of regional trade unions for social insurance. The author reveals the advantages and disadvantages of the Soviet system of distributing the state social insurance budget. The author cites numerous archive sources which have not been published earlier, revealing the system of distribution of the state social insurance budget in the USSR in the 1950s – 1960s.
