LENGTHY ABSENCE AND CIVIL STATUS ACTS
Abstract
Civil status acts are related to the emergence, change and termination of certain rights and responsibilities. The state establishes the civil status acts by registering them. The current civil status legislation does not acknowledge lengthy absence as a major event in a person’s life. The position of the legislator seems unreasonable and demanding changes and improvements.
