STATE SUPPORT OF GRAIN PRODUCTION AS THE MAIN FACTOR OF INCREASING COMPETITIVINESS OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS

Abstract

In the view of the current events on the world scene, the question of developing the domestic agrarian sector and escalating the volumes of agricultural production is actual. State support of agricultural producers is a principal factor for increasing their competitiveness, which explains the urgency of the research. The objective of the given work is revealing influence of state support of the agricultural organizations on competitiveness in grain production. The paper reveals the influence of state support of grain production on competitiveness of agricultural producers engaged in grain crops cultivation. The current regional target program «Development of agriculture in Nizhniy Novgorod region for 2013 – 2020» is analyzed, the core structural chnages in financing the agrarian and industrial complex in the region are revealed. The basic programmes of state support of agrarian and industrial complex both in certain regions of the Russian Federation and abroad are considered. The research revealed the insufficiency of subsidizing of the agrarian and industrial complex of Nizhniy Novgorod region from the federal budget.
