<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Barnum effect determinants such as professional orientation and type of description (trivial, present and extraneous) were investigated. Two groups of students with professional socionomic and technical directions were interviewed. Estimate of the accuracy in trivial personal descriptions was not significantly different among students with varying professional orientation.
