Эмоциональный интеллект выступает в качестве важного компонента общего психического здоровья и социальной адаптации, что обуславливает актуальность его исследования. В статье рассмотрены подходы к пониманию психологического феномена эмоциональный интеллект дошкольника как зарубежными, так и отечественными авторами. В данном исследовании акцент направлен на анализ трех компонентов эмоционального интеллекта, что позволяет выделить ключевые элементы, способствующие гармоничному развитию личности в детском возрасте. Цель – изучить аспекты формирования эмоционального интеллекта у детей в старшем дошкольном возрасте. Авторами рассматривается аспект развития эмоционального интеллекта как многомерного явления, что позволяет глубже понять влияние эмоциональных навыков на общую психологическую адаптацию детей. Выделены и рассмотрены компоненты эмоционального интеллекта: распознавание и идентификация эмоций, регуляция эмоциональных состояний, осознание эмоций и чувств. Результаты проведенного качественного и количественного анализа позволили выделить следующие аспекты: дети обнаруживают способность различать и осознанно проявлять основные эмоции: радость, гнев, печаль, страх, спокойствие, удивление; уровень выражения эмоций проявляется на среднем уровне, тогда как способность осмысливать и описывать эмоции проявляется на уровне ниже среднего; выход из возникшей конфликтной ситуации дети, как правило, видят в моделях конструктивного взаимодействия.

Emotional intelligence is a major component of mental health and social adaptation. The article reviews foreign and Russian approaches to emotional intelligence in preschool children. The three-component structure of emotional intelligence made it possible to identify the key elements of steady personal development in preschoolers. Emotional intelligence development is a multidimensional phenomenon, where emotional skills affect the overall psychological adaptation. Emotional intelligence includes ability to detect and identify emotions, regulation of emotional states, and awareness of emotions and feelings. In this study, the children were able to manifest the major emotions (joy, anger, sadness, fear, calmness, surprise) and distinguish them. The expression level was average while the ability to comprehend and describe emotions proved to be below average. Conflict resolution involved constructive interaction.
