Использовались шкала измерения языковой тревожности при изучении иностранного языка (E. K. Horwitz, М. B. Horwitz, J. Cope), дополненная Z. Na, в авторском переводе на русский язык и шкала общей толерантности к неопределенности (Е. Н. Осин). В исследовании приняли участие студенты лингвистических направлений подготовки (n = 102). Для статистической обработки данных применялись оценка внутренней согласованности (альфа Кронбаха), описательные статистики исследуемых параметров, одновыборочный критерий Колмогорова- Смирнова, t-критерий Стьюдента, U-критерий Манна-Уитни, H-критерий Краскела-Уоллиса, корреляционный анализ (коэффициент Пирсона и коэффициент Спирмена). Показано, что юноши и девушки, а также студенты, изучающие различные иностранные языки в качестве основного, статистически достоверно различаются по отдельным компонентам языковой тревожности и толерантности к неопределенности. Выявлены различные корреляционные паттерны между исследуемыми параметрами в группах девушек и юношей и в языковых группах. Наиболее значимыми параметрами толерантности к неопределенности в контексте понимания психологической природы языковой тревожности оказались отношение к сложным задачам и отношение к неопределенным ситуациям.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The study featured two models of language anxiety. The authors identified the psychological nature of this phenomenon by analyzing its relationships with ambiguity tolerance. The study involved the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale developed by E. K. Horwitz, M. B. Horwitz, and J. Cope, improved by Z. Na, and translated by the authors, as well as E. N. Osin’s General Tolerance for Ambiguity Scale. The study involved 102 students majoring in linguistics. For statistical processing, the authors employed such methods as internal consistency assessment (Cronbach's alpha), descriptive statistics, Kolmogorov-Smirnov one-sample test, Student's t-criterion, Mann-Whitney U-test, Kruskal- Wallis H-test, Pearson's coefficient, and Spearman's coefficient. The students demonstrated statistically significant gender differences in individual components of language anxiety and ambiguity tolerance.
