Рецензия рассматривает особенности авторского подхода, теоретическое обоснование, содержание и выводы монографии. Монография основана на междисциплинарном подходе и дает комплексное представление о проблеме пожилого поколения в современной Европе. Устоявшийся тезис о «старении Европы» в монографии анализируется через призму демографических показателей, их влияния на систему социального обеспечения и отношений между поколениями. Автор рассматривает проблему старения Европы в сравнительном контексте демографических тенденций в мире и подводит итоги о будущем системы обеспечения пенсионеров в Европе.

The review evaluates the particularities of the author’s approach, theoretical framework, content and conclusions of the book. The monograph is based on the interdisciplinary approach and gives a complex vision of the elder generation in modernEurope. The monograph uses the established notion of “aging Europe” to analyse the demographic data, their impact on social security system and relations between generations. The author studies the problem of aging Europe through a comparative analysis of the world trends and draws conclusions on the future of elder people provision inEurope.
