Теоретический обзор точек зрения зарубежных лингвистов и психологов по рассматриваемому вопросу дает нам право утверждать, что обширное знание и глубокомыслие студентов, участие в дискуссиях и дебатах на занятиях играют решающую роль в формировании их критической жизненной позиции.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The paper deals with critical thinking development through reading authentic news articles in English classes. Teachers all over the world are trying to incorporate critical thinking skills into the learning process so as to raise their students as independent critical thinkers.
